REDEFINING CLASSICS

June 15th will soon be here! We are so grateful to all of our sponsors for your support in making sure this event happens! We are also thankful to Catholic University for providing such a beautiful space for us to gather and celebrate how the Classical Tradition connects to all of us.

So many amazing things will happen at this gathering and one of them is there will be a special memorial that honors scholars and educators who made the classical community a welcoming space for all people. This memorial is NOT about celebrating a particular race or ethnicity, so we want you to share the names of ANYONE that you feel has done that. As you prepare to come, think of those individuals who have passed away but contributed to the accessibility and welcoming spirit of this community. We will begin the day by having a moment to honor them and each attendee will be able to say their name out loud as we honor them.

We will be posting updates daily as we prepare for June 15th and we will also feature each of the speakers for June 15th! Some of the speakers spoke on the virtual pre-event on May 11th, but we also will have some new faces! You can see the videos from the May 11th event on our YouTube channel!
